HOW IT
WORKS

249 nations. One token each. One drop every 15 minutes. One hub token getting bought and burned with every trade.

01

THE BASICS

There are 249 nations. Each one gets exactly one official pump.fun token, launched by the Borders team. That token represents that country in the Borders ecosystem: its market cap, its holders, its volume.

If you want to play a country, you buy its token. If you want to bet on the entire ecosystem, you hold $BORDERS, the hub token that captures fees from every country in the game.

You don't need an account, a signup, or our permission. Every token is on pump.fun the moment it goes live. You trade directly from your Solana wallet. Borders is the curator and the source. Once a token is out, the market takes over.

02

THE DROP SCHEDULE

We don't release all 249 nations at once. We drop one new country every 15 minutes.

At each drop tick, the Borders platform wallet picks the next country from the queue, generates the token metadata, uploads it to pump.fun IPFS, and launches a fresh pump.fun token. The country is then marked as live in the global registry.

The drop order is randomized at the start of the run. Whether your favorite country is next, in an hour, or three days away, the schedule is locked and visible on the site.

03

THE $BORDERS HUB TOKEN

$BORDERS is the heart of the ecosystem.

While each country token represents one nation, $BORDERS represents the entire game. Its value reflects the combined health of all 249 nations, because every country token is wired to feed it.

Holding $BORDERS is the diversified play. Holding a single country token is the focused play. They're complementary, not competing. $BORDERS is itself a pump.fun token, freely tradable, same as any country.

04

THE FLYWHEEL

This is the most important mechanic in Borders.

Every pump.fun token generates creator fees, a small cut of every buy and sell. Since the Borders platform wallet is the creator of every country token, those fees accrue to the ecosystem.

Of every dollar in creator fees earned:

  • 50%Used to market-buy $BORDERS and burn the tokens permanently. Forever removed from supply.
  • 50%Goes to operations and marketing: platform costs, RPC, growth campaigns, and team.

More country trading means more creator fees, which means more $BORDERS buy-and-burn, which means less $BORDERS supply and upward pressure on price. The flywheel runs forever, on every trade, on every country.

All buy-and-burn transactions are executed on-chain from the platform wallet and publicly verifiable on Solscan.

05

THE MAP

The map is the primary way to explore Borders. Every country in the world is on it.

Live countries are filled in vibrant orange with their ticker symbol visible. Unlaunched countries are gray, sitting quietly until their scheduled drop. Hovering a country shows its name and, if live, its current market cap. Clicking opens the full detail page with mint address, launch time, live market cap, and a direct link to trade.

The map updates in real time. When a new drop happens, you watch the country turn orange. At a glance you can see which regions are heating up, which are quiet, and which are still waiting their turn.

06

THE LEADERBOARD

Every live country is ranked by market cap. The #1 nation is, in that moment, the most valuable country in the world according to Borders.

Rankings shift in real time as market caps move. If $JAPAN is climbing you can see it. If $USA just got flipped by $BRAZIL, you can see it. If a sleeper country quietly creeps into the top 10, you can see that too.

Rankings have no in-game prizes or rewards for v1. Being #1 is purely a flex. But the leaderboard makes the competition visible, and visibility drives narrative, and narrative drives meme coins.

07

TRADING

You don't trade on Borders. You trade on pump.fun.

Every country token is a standard pump.fun token. Every country's page on Borders has a "Trade on pump.fun" button that takes you straight to that token's pump.fun page. Connect your wallet and buy or sell like any other token.

We made this choice deliberately. Pump.fun already has the best trading UX in the Solana meme ecosystem. Borders is the discovery layer. Pump.fun is the trading layer.

When countries graduate from the pump.fun bonding curve to Raydium, trading continues there. Borders automatically links to the appropriate venue.

08

OPERATIONAL TRANSPARENCY

A few things worth making explicit:

  • +The platform wallet. A single Solana wallet, controlled by the Borders team, that creates every country token and receives all creator fees. Its address is published on the site.
  • +No insider buying. The platform wallet does not buy any country token at launch. It only creates it. Whoever buys first buys at the pump.fun bonding curve starting price like everyone else.
  • +No premine of $BORDERS. $BORDERS launched as a standard pump.fun token. The team does not hold a special allocation.
  • +Verifiable burns. Every $BORDERS buyback and burn is broadcast from the platform wallet and visible on Solscan.

FAQ

Can I launch my own country?

No. Only Borders launches country tokens. One official token per country, no fragmentation. If you see a country token not listed on the Borders map, it's not part of this ecosystem.

What if my favorite country isn't live yet?

It's in the queue. Every nation drops on the schedule. You can see when on the site. There's no way to make a specific country drop sooner.

What countries are included?

All 249 from the ISO 3166-1 international standard: every sovereign country plus some dependent territories and special administrative regions. Disputed territories follow the ISO designation.

Can countries get re-launched?

No. One country, one official mint, forever. Even if a token's market cap collapses, that mint remains the only official Borders representation of that country.

Do I need $BORDERS to participate?

No. You can trade country tokens directly without ever touching $BORDERS. Holding $BORDERS gives you ecosystem exposure instead of a single nation bet.

How do I know buy-and-burn is actually happening?

Every burn is an on-chain Solana transaction from the platform wallet, visible on Solscan in real time. We also post every burn to @bordersgamefun the moment it happens.

RISK DISCLOSURE

Country tokens and $BORDERS are pump.fun meme coins on Solana. They are highly volatile, speculative, and can lose all of their value rapidly. There is no guarantee any market cap will grow, that the flywheel will produce sustained price appreciation, or that the project will exist in any particular form in the future. Trade only what you can afford to lose. This page is documentation, not financial advice.
